TA announcement

Hi guys, first post please go easy on me. The traffic announcement on my radio is driving me crazy. I've done numerous searches and it always comes back with, press the mute button for 3 seconds. I have lost count to the number of times I've done this. Is the button sticking or not working and is this the only way. BTW its the standard audio 10.

My Comand Online is always telling me the M3 is the "cubic metres" when it advises me of traffic problems was funny at first, now it's just plain annoying!

Yes, pressed during and when no announcement is being made. It needs to be turned off more than muted every time. Is that possible.

If you look at the display you will see TA.

Hold down MUTE until the TA changes (it swops polarity on some, goes on others)

Then it will be off.

If you find it comes on randomly it tends to be something on the fibre optic network resetting.

As I look at the display it shows TP top right of the screen and during the announcement TA shows top left. After the announcement TA goes away but TP stays lit. Pressing the mute at any time makes no difference.

I do, and it makes no difference. That's what make me think the button is probably not working.
