Are you telling me that MB make an HPI check every time a car comes in for some warranty work? This is a new car, if parts are replaced with new during the repair and it is done professionally I doubt it would be noticed by all but those who have seen too much CSI

I'm wondering if it will show up on their database? If not it might be a licence to fit worn parts and then claim under the warranty (not that anyone would ) Mine is a question and certainly not a statement I am merely curious.
regarding the airbags
Air bags need a considerable shock to detonate. My wife was T-boned at a roundabout and none of the airbags detonated (The car, not the wife )
