throttle body w124 e280 with cruise

I need a throttle body for a w124 94 E280, with cruise control the car does not have asr.......cant seem to find one anywhere....help

Hi the part number i have been quoted from merc is 000 141 57 25.....with cruise without asr.........I dont know the vdo number unfortunatly.....

problem is high idle, and cruise control failure.....and the throttle body is the part i need as i have had someone look at the car.

This, combined with your temp gauge posted problem, leads me to suspect you may have a wiring loom problem.

the vdo number for this part is 40822641,,,,,,I need an engine loom also....I may have to bite the bullet and get one from mb...should b able to get it at cost with any luck lol...anyone wh may have a throttle body knocking about though let me know cheers

sorry chris, didn't get chance to look until today. the good news is that the company i work for has one. they want £100 for it, that will be plus postage too. also i am told there is no warranty with this part, but i can confirm it came from a running car. sad story really, leaking water pump, couldn't stop, kept going untill it siezed!!! must have taken a while to do that, quite a clean car too, but all scrap now.
