Morning Guys. W203 facelift, OM646 engine. EML light on and diagnosis reads " P0123 throttle position sensor `A`circuit high."
Anybody have experience of this? Where is this sensor? On the intake manifold? Near the pedal? Any pointers appreciated. Thanks for reading.

This perhaps ? not tried it myself . But worth a go.

It could be the accelerator pedal position reading wrong. This can be read live by any decent scan tool.

Thanks Petrol Pete. Tried it - no change

Thanks BaldGuy, looking like I`ll try swapping the pedal assy..

Well maybe remove the negative battery terminal for 20 mins.

Righty P Pete. No, my diagnosis tool will not do live data. Found a guy that may sort it next week.

Update Guys. Still not had live data read. (Technician snowed under and now on holiday) But my reader seems to have abandoned `throttle position ` fault, and consistently brings up P0244 - turbo wastegate actuator solenoid A range, and Mercedes specific P1402 -exhaust back pressure.
I presume one fault triggers the other but which triggers which ?
Luckily, the car starts and drives normally, so is used daily.
Any pointers please.
