Tidy Green/Black C43 AMG

Not sure I'd wan't to pay that price when there's rust to sort, even a small amount. Not too bad though, and has the coveted rear blind too :D

Hi,
Best colour for a 43 by far but then of course I,m bias ;)
That's the highest spec C43 that's been for sale for a long time, like mine it will have every switch position filled. If you notice it even has wood inlays and panelling instead of carbon fibre. The parking sensors are IMO the rarest option on a 202 and this car has it. I always thought it was the rear blind but that is quite easy and cheap to retro fit OEM but the parking sensors is prohibitively expensive OEM, as it requires new bumpers.
Shame it isn,t tip though.

I don't like the look of the Parking sensors on these, but they are rare Andy :thumb:

I like Azurite Blue better :p

Hi
Your right the way MB fitted the sensors was gash and looks ugly as, but as mentioned it was a rare option, I think noop's 43 has them and its the same spec and colour too.

Trouble with the PTS is that you end up ignoring them as they bleep to early, then scrapes can happen when you don't pay enough attention.
Better not to have it, aswell as being ugly looking.

Love all the other options though :)

Andy yes it does have the same spec as mine, the parking sensors design isn't the best compared to modern Mercs but they work very well and are very useful in London when you have very limited space to park. I do quite like the wood look, I didn't think it was offered in this country.

Hi,
I agree regardless how they look they do work well.
I thought the same as you regarding the wood, and have only seen wood on the US spec 43s, though I have seen the odd one in the UK with a Designo wood option.
I would dearly like to get a set of Birds eye maple trim for mine but if it was/is still available it would be very expensive to replace my carbon trim.

Birds eyes maple would looking stunning in our cars, I thought about having a company who do the films to wrap my carbon trim in Birds eye maple or genuine carbon fibre, but alas I need to spend my money elsewhere on it, e.g. new disks and shocks which is something I will have to do in the new year.

Yeah, i want to do a double din conversion and get all of my panels wrapped in real Carbon Fibre :D

Been thinking of the wrap myself for the interior trim panels.
I,m going to get the exterior trim panels on the doors wrapped in carbon fibre as the passenger side ones are almost completely black now, been planning this for a while now as i have a spare set of these trims I got from a forum member who was breaking a C43.
I was also thinking of wrapping the black window trims as well in either carbon fibre or gloss black but I,m not sure yet. Any thoughts?

Thats a super high spec W202 indeed have seen it before for sale too. BEM would be soo perfect but dont forget it was available have seen a few german spec W202's with it and not forgetting it was standard on Japan spec C43's !

I did a carbon wrap on my old W202 pillar extrior trims and it looked ok :thumb:
Which black window trims do you mean ? the ones between the drop window and door skin ?
