Very sad to hear this earlier.

I’m sure it’s no more than coincidence, but for the last couple of weeks I’ve found myself regularly playing “Nothing Compares 2 U”.

Not her song at all of course....a Prince cover...but certainly the one she will be remembered for.

Absolutely. The irony is that even O'Connor's stunning version was heading for (slightly less) obscurity than the version recorded by The Family - who Prince had gifted the song to as he didn't feel the song sat well with his public image - until her video was shown on MTV.
