Tow bar and parking sensor

is it possible for the westfalia tow bar on my e class wagon to interfere with the rear parktronic?

Star shows stored codes for ‘obstacle’ rear centre sensors. However it is working okay now? So I am quite confused...

Also 2 sensors were faulty, so these were replaced with OEM Bosch units, now these 2 replaced sensors sometimes trigger false alarms (as shown by the LED displays)

If it has OEM towbar wiring they are linked in that plugging something into the trailer socket should deactivate the rear parking sensors. Possibly something to do with that, maybe if there's a fault in the socket or cabling?

Not sure Bill, the towbar has now been detached and placed safely in the boot. Lets hope it solves the issue
