CLK 63
Hi,I decided 18 mths ago to modify my W209 CLK63.Ive always had a thing for coupes and don't care for the new E class coupe so took the plunge into modifying.
I've always loved the clk ,w208 and w209 especially been larger than the average bear so the leg ,head room and driving position really suits my size.
From day one I always felt the car needed enhancing.
Here's a list of the work carried out.
1. Brabus 19" staggered alloy wheels .
2. Uprated anti roll bars.No brainier.
3. Racing brake lines and fluid .Amg discs and pads are excellent as standard so these haven't been changed yet !
4. KW2 adjustable suspension.Great mod transformed the look and handling. No brainier.
5. Black series carbon boot spoiler ( supplied by Vath Germany stay clear dreadful company to deal with)
6. Black series carbon diffuser again Vath !! Ditto.Ive recently purchased a replacement for this from Vis racing USA as I don't think it suits the car.
7. Carbon front spoiler splitter from Asia. Looks the part in my opinion.
8. Carbon wing mirror covers.
9. De Chrome with respray and vinyl wrap in gloss.I may have to remove the merc badge from the bonnet.
10. Light smoke tint to Windows.
11.Custom Matt carbon interior. I had black ash originally but love the Matt carbon.
12. Weistec stage 2 super smile charger :) just outrageous 724 hp !! I initially went stage 1 and soon realised I needed stage 2 . A fellow forum member said I would .
13. Cargraphic long tube headers. Super quality & the sound sublime .
14 . Decat custom exhaust.Ive retained the Amg tail pipes because there just sweet as to look at.
15. Quaife LSD. No brainier.
All this was possible due to the expertise and professionalism of DMS Automotive. I can't thank them enough and wouldn't trust anyone else to work on my pride and joy. What a great set of guys. Thanks for all you hard work .They are based Hampshire me in Yorkshire so nice drives home :).
I'll post pics as soon as I work it out.
Happy driving all :)

Looks (and sounds!) stunning!

I know black paintwork can be deceiving at times so is it just the reflection or do the exhaust tips sit a little prouder than normal?

Keen eye I see .Yes they do I would have preferred them set back another inch or so .When the replacement bumper and diffuser gets fitted this winter I'll have the tips adjusted to suit.

If you're fitting a diffuser it'll probably end up perfect because the one criticism I have of them is that you tend to lose the tips but yours will look perfect pal.

Didn't want it to come across as a criticism because your car looks stunning! :thumb:

What a stunner and a beast! I bet it flys

Where about in Yorkshire are you based I'm in Sheffield wouldn't mind seeing this in the flesh ;)

Thanks for the positive replies the guys on here have some quality cars. I live in Wakefield happy to meet up on a good weather day but I don't venture out much in the car winter time.
