Car
C250 CDI
Facelift S204 C250 CDI Auto , small noise / grumble / vibration upon acceleration most noticeable after a roundabout to dual carriageway ever since I've had the car .

Now given how cheap and easy it is to replace it would be rude not to .

It's a common design and shape that's used across a number of models for some time now but it's not exactly robust so a common / a given issue .

Quite an extreme version of wear

So my question is there any uprated versions that would fit from anyone / AMG ?

I've had a great experience in the past from specialists like Hardrace and Nismo who use hardened rubber .

Black series AMG has nice tranny mounts, they should be filled with more solid rubber

I would suggest the 'harder' the mount the more vibration will be sent into the car . I replaced my engine and transmission mounts on my AMG C55 with Lemforder units , no problem . As you know Lemforder supply MB with motor and transmission mounts.

The old one in the lower photo does not appear to have any tears or cracks in....the usual clue of failure in.....just a bit squashed....I bet the new one will look like that quite soon! The one in the top pic however....that's proper cream crackered!!!
