Hello Guys , W203 200cdi, `54 reg 646 engine. The EML light is on and my tinpot diagnoser tells me the problem is solenoid voltage /turbo actuator. so I deduce that the actuator is probably a Hella electronic one.
I`m getting a bit long in the tooth for car fettling these days, but might have a go at replacing the actuator if it is relatively easy to get at from under the bonnet.
Can anybody tell me where the actuator actually is? On top of the turbo? Underneath the turbo?
I have not noticed a drop in car performance, and am tempted to ignore the problem, but will the car pass its MoT - coming up shortly?
