Hi guys
Does may one know if the turbo actuator can be replaced? Been told its a whole new turbo and actuator as its programmed?

Under heavy acceleration car starts to jerk until you ease off the pedal, it's been checked and I was told the actuator is at fault

Thanks

It can be repaired (often wires just need soldering - not not regular tin), or refurb/new actuators are sold in ebay, just type must be right and not 100% sure it will help.

They can be replaced/repaired , probably in the region of £140 ish ?? If it were my W211 (I have one) I would be looking at getting the actuator refurbed or replaced for the above price + a can of turbo spray cleaner through the front of the turbo before committing to a whole new turbo .
Also spray clean the underside of the exhaust back pressure sensor whilst you are at it .
Who has diagnosed the turbo fault , MB specialist or general garage ?
The actuator will have a number like G277 on the side of it , you may have to remove it to see it .
If you are handy at diy , remove it check for broken wires on the edge of the board inside , spray clean the electrical carbon gunk out with electrical cleaner and put a tiny blob of high temp grease on the worm gear and see if that works again (to rule out turbo fault )

The turbo actuator can often be replaced separately, but it may require programming or calibration to function properly with your engine. It's best to consult a mechanic or the manufacturer for specific guidance on your vehicle's turbo system.

MB indie, I believe he's checked it on star. Will have a look at weekend and see if there is anything obvious, I see alot of after market actuators on ebay ideally if I can get a reconditioned original or mine recond will go down that route
Thanks
