Two E350 Questions

I have an E350 BlueTronic AMG Estate on order for mid-September delivery, which means it should be getting built sometime soon.

MB have announce the new 9G-Tronic gearbox, for order now with September launch on this particular model. http://www.mbclub.co.uk/forums/mercedes-news/156324-9g-tronic.html Anyone know what UK build date this equates to and how I can find out if my car is new gearbox or old 7G?

Secondly, there was a huge thread and lots of internet chat about fuel injector problems on the V6 diesel - needing new injectors, software updates, recurring issues etc. It seems to have started about 2010 and fizzled out in the last year or so. Is the V6 oil burner now all sorted and clear of this problem, or do I need to worry?

Cannot answer the gearbox question but can confirm yes the injector issues were sorted a back in 2010-11.

Update: The German configurator now shows this model as having 9G gearbox. Pity the UK configurator has been off line for months .................................
