No need to change from what you used for your winter tyre set up.afternoon all
just switched 18 winters to 19 summers and wondering on tyre pressures
it says 38 / 42 on the petrol cap and was wondering if people run that or go a bit lower?
thanks NW
Yes there is. Different tyre profile, usually smaller sidewall on summer tyres and therefore higher pressures needed. No need to change from what you used for your winter tyre set up.
I agree that it’s best to follow the car manufacturer’s recommended pressures, and fine tune according to wear pattern, ie if wear suggests over or under inflation.Yes there is. Different tyre profile, usually smaller sidewall on summer tyres and therefore higher pressures needed.
I just follow the pressures inside the fuel filler flap.
I stick to the recommendations on the inside of the fuel cap.I think 41 front 43 back if I remember rightly.Neiltodd mine is a wagon like yours so what do you run? 40 all round?
42 and 46 for 19" then when loaded normal speedsHere's the cap ,so you run less for daily driving? 20210201 133703 — Postimages][/url]
