Had a umc fitted to our w204, and to be honest, the sound quality through the ipod is terrible, also the tmc does not work, done a 100 mile round trip using the sat nav and no details of any hold ups, even though it took me an hour to getaround manchester due to an accident, just wondering if ive been sold a lemon , any of you guys running one and how is it for you??

ps. ipod settings on umc have been increased, its not voume which is the problem, just quality, i play the ipod in my van through an alpine head unit and it sounds great.

going to complain to the garage tomorrow!!

I assume you mean Universal Media Interface, I updated mine with the latest map and it changed it to Navigation 20, no TMC though. I use a USB stick for music and my MP3's sound OK to me.
