Unclipping windscreen wipers on a B class 2005

This is going to sound like a muppet...as I managed it once
All the videos show "pull the clip once the blade is at about 45 deg"
I've done in once.... now they seem stuck fast - and I have a set of replacement blades I really need to change..
HELP!

Probably just stuck, pull harder!

Give it a spray with WD40 or similar that might help if it’s stuck
