After @MrGundam started a panic by posting pics of his failed underside brake lines because of debris build up I’ve been waiting for a decent day to have a look under there on the CLK .
I combined the underside panel removal with a quick squirt of Dinitrol into the CLK’s rear subframe holes , a two for one job as the car was on wheel ramps .
I removed the long near side panel and was pleasantly surprised by there not being a huge amount of dirt under there . A quick degrease and scrub of the panel cleaned it up nicely .
The brake lines looked in good order , but I removed their rubber holders , sprayed everything with APC , scrubbed and washed with a microfibre mitt before rinsing . After letting everything dry i sprayed them with ACF50.
