Hi,I have had an on going problem with the throttle body on a v230. at low revs it would go in to limp mode about once a month,In the past if I turned the key 4 times it would go back to normal.(so not really a problem)about 3 weeks ago I had the water pump replaced .At the same time the mechanic mended a brake light that was not working.(bulb was ok).The next morning the car was in limp mode and refused to even tick over.undriveable.It was even hard to start. The diagnostic showed throttle valve jamming occasionaly.even the computer could not reset limp mode.I sent the unit to bba reman.received it back £220 .same problem, stuck in limp mode.when diagnosed it showed throttle valve jamming occasionaly.I sent it back to bba reman ,they say it is perfect.I will be receiving it back tomorrow. My question is could it be a wiring fault leading to the throttle body,or could my original mechanic have messed up something whilst repairing the brake light.any ideas welcome.thanks Graham
