Hello,
Just waiting to get hold of my 05 plate E270 cdi avantgarde, hopefully it will be a good experience for me. Any tips and advice to aid that please.

Welcome Tim. Lovely motor for your "first time" Enjoy the ride.

Good sound motor. Maybe peel back the rubbers on top of the doors and have a look for tin worm (sorry it does happen) Make sure your radiator says BEHR on it.

Other than that you should have no worries.
