Got one of these ViseeO MB-4 for the wifes car which is a ntg2 command. Setup was easy and got it all working for. Her first journey out came back with "its not working". She had the phone in her handbag which was in the boot. I guess the phone was too far away from the ViseeO MB-4. So explained to her keep your phone near the ViseeO MB-4.

Day 2 not working again. The phone is finding the ViseeO MB-4 but the mic is not switched on the hands free. The person she is calling can hear here but she can't hear them or at least the volume is like a whisper. Was working perfect for me . I think she has restored factory defaults however as usual she claims to have touched nothing. Had a look at lunchtime but as I don't have the manual it was not obvious.

So my question is what has she touched and how to I get the speaker back picking up her voice so callers can hear.

Where did you get the unit from? It should have come with a manual in the bottom of the box.

got a manual for the ViseeO MB-4 but not the NTG2. Think its a button on the actual car she has pressed.

There is a mic off setting on the comand screen I belive. Its there during a call.

depends on the firmware in the comand.

yes I tried that button when making a test call to her but I think she hung up before I got the chance. The kids will be home from school tonight I will get them to receive the calls. Think that would be a better help than the wife if you know what I mean.

In saying that the mic off seems to effect the ability person at the other end of the line hearing the person in the car. The other end of the line can hear fine it's them that can't be heard in the car. Why do women mess around with something that's working fine and then say it's not working?

Anyone had similar problems with the MB4 cradle? Mine seems to be faulty. Installed it and worked fine. Wife went to use it and the volume coming from the cars speakers during a call is tiny. It seems to have an intermittent fault floats between working ok then tiny volume. It brand new so not as if it and old unit. Just to clarify the person I am calling can hear me fine. The problem is I cant hear them as if my speaker volume is turned down.
