Viseeoo 30000 pairing issuess

I've recently bought a viseeo 3000 and can't get it to pair with my iPhone 5s. I bought it from ebay and it came without a cable or user manual so I'm a bit stumped. I can only find the user manual for the 1000 online but when I follow those instructions a couple of things happen. Firstly, the White pairing light never flashes, but the Bluetooth one flashes faster. My phone can see there's a viseeo there but it won't pair.

Any suggestions? Anyone near Fife/edinburgh with the facility to upgrade the software in the viseeo (I think this is the most likely problem) or should I return it to the seller as defective?

Update. After some guddling about and basically pressing lots of buttons in no particular order, my phone paired! And I managed to get my phone book downloaded into the car too.

Time will tell if it works the next time.
