Morning Mercers! Can anyone help me with regards to the above. I currently have a rear "2+1" reclinable seat that I can remove or move as I have the tracks in the floor for the differing options.

I want to expand the seating capacity by at least two seats but preferably three and preferably all reclining but am not sure of what seats I can fit (and therefore what to buy/what not to buy) and wondered if there was a Config guide anywhere?

Many thanks in advance.
Br, John

You mention the floor tracks, so from this I assume you have the easy out option by rollforward unclip and lift out.
Certainly in the lond and extra long this allows for 2 rows of rear seats., adding 1, 2 or 2+1 as you have is as simple as clip in and roll backfor the aft clips.
The only difference as far as I'm a ware is that the seats for the rear (rather than middle) will be w/o the outer arm rests as the side of the cab has them and they won't fit if the seats have them.
Maybe your 2+1's are already w/o and can fit behind the sliding doors?

The single 'captain' seats will have arm rests as their fit isn't so wide.

Is this a Traveliner (with windows all the way back)? Vitos normally have fixed mounting points for the seats rather than floor tracks.

You're right Bill - they're mounting points spaced through the floor rather than floor tracks. Are all Vito 639 anchorage points the same or are there different ones that I need to be aware of when buying second hand? It has Windows on the doors but not on the rear quarters..

Does yours already have floor mountings for a 3rd row of seats? This would be unusual without rear side windows - only the Traveliner (minibus) version had 3 rows.

I don't think any Vitos had floor tracks ... they were standard (AFAIK) on the Viano though, so I'm sure they can be retrofitted.

Presumably you'll need to put rear side windows in ... I wouldn't want to sit in the back without them!

There have been some on the forum that have fitted the tracks without too much trouble. They are standard on the Viano ours has two rows of two individual seats in the back all movable and can be interchanged. All have arm rests. As far as I can remember our previous Viano which had the bench 3 seat option on the back rows also had arm rests.
