Vito engine light

Vito has light on but no fault found when scanned. Any ideas?
Goes into Limp mode with no power.

Pretty sure that 3rd party scanners don't identify all codes. I would get it read by an MB STAR system.

Speaking from experience here - the diagnostic kit at our (good) local independent garage really struggled with our Vito and we ended up having to take it to a dealer (some MB specialists do have STAR though).

Had similar problems with my Vito - you need to get it on star. Mine turned out to be a problem with the wiring loom where it runs across the engine.
