I'm trying to switch my existing bench seat to a single passenger seat in my W638 Vito.

At the moment, I have the twin seat in the front which flips up to allow access to the battery. I've got a nice passenger seat to put in there instead, but I'm wondering what the seat base looks like in a vehicle which had a single seat from the factory. Can't find one on eBay (loads of drivers side ones). Can't find it on the EPC either.

Can anyone show me?

Otherwise it's quite a lot of fabrication to adjust the existing base to work, and be safe.

Anyone know on a V-Class? They must have had single passenger seat.

Try the Viano that has the fixed base for the passenger seat or of course the V class version of the 638 but I would look at the Viano. It encloses the battery with removable trim for access. It works the same for the Vito if I remember correctly and there are a lot now in breaker's yards.

A single seat will simply bolt in place of the twin seat.
The seat bases from a Viano will swap, you will need both as the hight is slightly different but then you will find the mat will be cut short so you will need that as well.
