500E's on the W124 were all leftys/ lefties.

Wish i had taken some pics of mine when i had one, but under the bonnet there wasn't any space to squeeze anything into! From what i was told, the engine had to be shoe-horned in, and it was impossible to convert it to RHD as they didn't have any way to move the steering column over!

Economy is one thing that is definately not in the manual of a 500E. It is difficult not to let that engine roar on the open road, and it certainly delivers when you need it to. From what i remember, the car weighed around 2 tons!
