W124 and A124 cabrio

Hi, can anyone tell me if the actual vanity mirror unit( not the visor, just the unit) is the same size for both cars?
I know the actual visor is different but they look the same...... he’ll of a difference in price secondhand !!

Hi Greg,
They appear to be: attached poor images to illustrate.
Quick measurements suggest the overall dimensions of the mirror ( and housing) are the same, the sunvisor itself being much bigger on my S124 compared with the A124.

any chance you could measure actual frame size, and a closeup of any edge, to check detail !

Bad news: the S124 ones are bigger than the A124 ones. They are 1.5cm longer and 1 cm wider.
It looks like the sunvisor moulding can't be easily "modified" to accept the S124 ones.

Try the coupe , it may be the same .
