i'm now a member of the mercedes-benz club

Me and a mate are on a mission to get are car ready for the Sucata Split next may we got a lovely E200T (W124 series) Auto Box for £250 in Polar White 140k on the clocks
She is a Beaut just need some advice firstly

we are repairing the rust! and need some advice on removing the bumpers before a respraying the panel so firstly how easy are they to get off and on and secondly, we have the delightful chrome arches only problem is we now gotta take them off as well to do the painting and decorating

today we replaces the spark plugs and checked the filter all is well and on refire the car was running lovely and a bit quiter and steadier

i think the chrome arch things stick on (depending on model) - beware - usually put on to hide rust!

hey well some interesting developments over the week-end the wing on the driveres side is shot and yeah chrome does hide rust body filler was in operation on the merc and now just found out the rear hydraulic SLS is not working an needs repairing so but we given it a service so she is running well and the bumper is not coming off as the screws are rusted on and wont come off so there lots still to do fun fun
