W124 e36 amg coupe lights

Hi guys,

I have a couple of questions with regards to the front lighting of this car. I wanted to upgrade the bulbs to brighter versions of the stocks eg osram nightbreaker + for headlights high and low beam and fogs etc.

I notice that the foglights are in the headlamp cluster on the inside portion ie towards the grill- so what does that make the lights lower down in the bumper - ie what is their function as they dont seem to come on?

Also under the main beam bulbs there are smaller bulbs- 4W BA9- what is their function as they dont seem to come on either.

Im getting a bulb warning light come on the dash but apart from the above all seems in order and it wasn't on till i started meddling!

The bumper lights should come on together with high beam. The 4w bulbs are marker/parking lights. Check wires inside the headlights - maybe you disconnected some wire by accident.
