Hi

I'm looking for a heater fan for a W124.

thanks

Derek

Haven't got any working spares but which type is it you're after? No aircon = single fan, aircon = double and there are other slight differences too... thickness of the squirral cages and spacing of them relative to the motor

Non working heater fan when i bought mine and i bought a replacement without checking the old one first. I had to mod the shafts and swap the cages over to get it to fit without rubbing. Bosch part # of that type was 0130111033... German SPOB: ELECTRIC MOTOR - HEATER VENTILATION, A/C TO BEHR MERCEDES BENZ / BOSCH / BEHR A1248201308 / 0130111033 1248201308 8EW009159-111 A1248201308

The type mine origionally had was 0130111011 German SPOB: ELECTRIC MOTOR - HEATER VENTILATION MERCEDES BENZ / BOSCH 0008308208 / 0130111011 0008307908 0130111011 8EW009159-101 A0008307908 and it's wearing one of them again as the first replacement shat its bearings after a few months. In both cases i payed around £40 used, one off ebay and one from a forum member breaking a car and personally i'd be hesitant to pay more for a used one as both of the ones i've bought looked to have loads of life left (brushes/commutator) and had smooth bushes. I need to take the current one out (been in a couple of years) and have a look at it's bearings/bushes as it's starting to squeal occasionally

Contrary to the info in the links the fan case on mine is BEHR yet the blower motor/fan that fits mine is for Siemens according to them (no provision for pollen filters on mine either)

If you look in the scuttle area just forward of your windscreen I reckon there's an excellent chance that you'll find one.

Try Wunderpartz for a new one. I bought one for about £70 recently for a car with Air-Con. Yours maybe cheaper.

I can help give me your reg or Chassis number and identify the part!
Regards

europarts are cheaper and if u use online code maybe u get 25-50% for cliub members!!
