W124 multiple electrics failure

Hi, need some advice here. I have a 1995 E220 w124 saloon. As the title suggests, I have an intermittent failure of heated rear window, indicators, hazard flashers and intermittent front wiper. Clearly the multi function relay (controlling all these functions) is the primary culprit, but before I spend large sums of money buying a new one, could there be any other cause for this failure?

As stated, this fault is intermittent but when it does occur it always effects the same functions. I have checked all the fuses and they are OK.

See the other 124 thread that's active. The contacts in the fuse box can corrode. A good clean might sort it out.

some of that might by the N10 relay, am assuming an E220 would have one like our E320, it restored wipers, heater rear window and only cost me £10 from Dronsfields. Cleaning the fuse box contacts will also be a good idea.
