w124 roof skin, has anybody replaced one?

Hey Everyone,

My roof is rusting around my sunroof, I ve had it sprayed but the sprayshop reckon i need a new roof skin, is it a serious job? Am I best pick one up in a scrap yard?

It's too hard to get a used one off, you're best bet is a new one, assuming they're stiil in stock

Id hazard a guess its a difficult job to do right.

And using a second hand one could be troublesom IMHO.
