Hi all

I am about to change the engine fuel lines tomorrow.

I am thinking I should depressurise the system first.
Then (attempt to) change the fuel lines.

My big concern is, will a hand pump that I have (rubber bubble) be able to pull fuel from the tank and get it to the pump afterwards or am I missing some vital piece of kit or tool for that?

thanks

No need to depressurise, the plastic pipes are low pressure, it should restart fairly well as the filter housing will still be full of fuel but a hand primer will work if needed.

Probably a good idea to get hold of new clips to hold them in place as they get brittle, I broke the hinged one under the high pressure pump and thought "it'l be alright". I was wrong, the new pipe rested on the fan belt and wore through resulting in a fuel leak.
No manual priming BTW but you will need a good battery as it takes a good 15 seconds of turning over before it fires.

That is very useful, thank you Martyn_n
