W164 all windows down function inoperative

Hi, the all windows down function on our ML has stopped working, I have no fault codes showing, any idea where I should be looking to locate the problem?

I believe it is the fault of the small pcb board thingy within the door handle sensor . There is some YouTube stuff on it .
I take it you have tried both keys ?

The 'repair' is online . It involves removing the unit from the door handle , chipping all of the sealing resin off the PCB then re soldering the wires . I did it on my C55 and it worked for a while . It still works now and again but I can't be bothered to do it all again .

It's a nice feature on a hot day , but (for me) not essential . CLOSING all of the windows and the sunroof can be achieved by pushing and holding the AC recirculate button on the dashboard.

Try good quality new batteries in both key fobs first.

Thanks, I think I can do without that functionality. Both keys are working but I will check the batteries just in case. Thanks folks, appreciated.
