W164 heater no working

Hi new to this forum w164 heater only luke warm on low fan .

How is the coolant temperature, is it getting up to operating temperature, say 90 deg C? If it’s stuck at around 80 deg C even after say 20 minutes or more of driving (not idling) then maybe the thermostat has failed. Relatively cost effective to replace.

Hi Thanks for the reply . Had a new 2 disc thermostat 6 months ago . On the diagnostics showed all temperatures where correct and circulating . I got told it may be the heat flap actuator but have not a clue where this is and on you tube only shows the w163 air blend door actuator.

A new auxillary pump was fitted at one garage but seem to be going round in circles .
Very low heat felt on low fan but goes cold as soon fan turned up a notch .
None at rear of car vents
