Morning All
I hope you are all well
So my company car arrives on Friday and sadly its time for the ML to go
Now I'm going to be totally honest its not immaculate and does come with some baggage but its worth putting it out there just in case someone facies a cheap motor
Good Bits:
ML300 CDI
First registered December 2009
Full service history with a mix of dealer and specialist (Merx in Stoke) currently just heading to 189k miles (so just run in
)
MOT till 20th November
4-good tyres
new discs pads and nearside caliper on the rear (3-weeks ago
)
had the dreaded cooler oil leek done a few years ago (£980 at Mercland)
All the usual goodies in full working order, heated seats, satnav, cd & dvd player, voice command etc
Now the Bad Bits:
Had a little knock at the front which dented the bonnet and cracked the grill
clipped a dwarf wall with the passenger side step
drivers seat has the usual tear in the fake leather from getting in and out
just had the service message up so could do with an oil and filter change
sometimes struggled to start when hot but second attempt it springs into life and never let me down (maybe a fresh set of starter relays again as they are common apparently)
and as per my recent posts it does have an intermittent judder when stopped and still in drive (doesn't always happen)
I spoke to the gearbox experts in Cannock and he said he would start with a new battery as it could be a low voltage issue and not the torque converter with it being intermittent (torque converter would be all the time he said)
So as i said the new pickup comes Friday so the old girl needs to go
car is in Stoke-on-Trent ST11
We buy any car will have my pants down but it may end up down that road
If anyone fancies a cheap ML I will let her go for offers around £1750 and will be available for the next couple of weeks so be quick if you are interested
