Hi All,

I've got an issue with the rear parking sensors on my A Class W176. My ICarsoft shows that all rear sensors have either short to ground or open circuit. I've replaced the wiring loom as there was clear corrosion on some contacts in the connector but this still did not resolve the issue.

I am measuring only 2 volts on connector to the loom so I have checked the fuses in the passenger footwell fusebox (Fuses 43, 50, 108) related to the parktronic system which all show no resistance and look in good condition (I am missing fuse 90 but this seems to be for blind spot signalling rather than the sensors??) I am trying to locate the PDC N62 module but struggling to find it in the boot sides or the passenger footwell.

Can anyone suggest next steps for diagnosis or location of the parktronic module on my car model please?

For anyone searching for the module in the future, I found it drivers side behind the central console... I conveniently then found a youtube video showing this..

However I recommend before going down this route to double check there are no loose wires in the back of the connector as it will save you quite a lot of time!
