No? It's post facelift so i would have thought it would just be a case of getting all the bits, and possibly programming via STAR? Really want CC on the car, do you not think a retro-fit is feasible?
Didnt notice there were 4 days left, and a train ticket to collect it from Southampton as that would be a fair price too!
I've been watching the larger cars on ebay not just Mercs and they are either going for stupid money or not selling at all.
I have had my 1999 C200 Esprit with 65,000 miles in brilliant condition full 12 months MOT,taxed till end of July started at £1995 put it on twice and did not get one bid or interest.
Also advertised it in TRADE-IT no interest,it seems since the government has done the hype about road fund licence it has bu+++++d the market up.
So if you want it bad enough you may get a bargain.
He also says that he reserves the right to pull the ad out from ebay, so Im guessing that he will pull the ad if he doesn't get enough.
I got caught up in one of these once where I was the highest bidder and it was for a 1999 w202 merc and I won at something like £500......it was easily worth about £2000.
When I contacted the seller by phone after the auction to arrange collection, the guy said that he will not sell the car for that amount, and when I explained to him that in that case he shouldn't have put it into an auction with no reserve, he swore at me and put the phone down.
I reported it to ebay, and gave him negative, but nothing came of it, and I didn't get the car.

It does look like a clean and genuinly honest example. The leather looks in good nick and the steering wheel is not heavily shiney. Just noticed its had its key changed as there is the new third generation bling key in the ignition.
