Hi all,
I need to get my plastic blower motor cage off but can't see how. There are tutorials online but they are for other Marques and feature circlips and things my motor / cage combo doesn't have!
I ask because:
* My w202's cabin blower is on the blink. Needs new brushes (on order).
* The commutator looks a little scored. I can give it a light reconditioning in my lathe if I can get the armeture / comm assembly out.
* it's easy enough to remove the brush-end cap of the motor, but the other end has a honking great piece of fragile plastic cage attached to it - seemingly by just a lump of rust.
Any ideas? Have I missed an obvious online how-to?
