W202 OEM Xenons

I'm guessing these are not a straightforward swap with non-xenons...

I would presume, by his advert, that as he fitted them to his car and then upgraded to a 55, he put the standard lights back in the 202 before selling it.
He probably has the full kit there.

If I get them, then I will need the expert services of one man.......

the one they call WALKER.....

(and many others, well pretty much anyone who knows about how to fit them :D )

Shude has them fitted. Straight swap as far as I recall. On my watch list :)

You mean the Texas Ranger?

Chuck Norris is good with his martial arts, but I'm not sure about his prowess with vehicle electrics!

hi guys, yes these will fit straight in, BUT the ballast units in the pic do not look like the right ones, as the plug is not the same as the plug on the lamp housing! Unless theres some kind of botch connection going on there.

It took me a whilse to get the parts to convert mine, but stillworth bididng for the light housings!

So even after getting the xenons it may be a problem to fit them then Alps?:(

Are the ballast units available to buy separate from the lamp units?

the light units will fit straight on, but the little silver boxes dont look right, not to say that the seller may have made them work with the units, try askign the seller.

I bought my ballast units(little silver box thingys) seperately from german Ebay, it took a while but i managed to find compatible ones which with the help of MBenznl, all i had to do was change the connector.

Let me know if you need any more info and i`ll try and point u in the right direction :)

Cool, but still will need work as the Euro lens will be made for the left hand drive cars. You could swap the lens`s over but they are £50 a peice from the dealers (maybe slightly more!)

Compare the 2 control units, you can see the differences

correct ballast units are hard to find, you can use an identicle Audi TT and change the connector, you can pick them up for under £100 on german ebay.

Aah well, went for 350 squids total including postage. Maybe for the best that I lost out as I've spent too much this month on buying potential mod bits and bobs already
