W203 C270 CDI - oil leak at the back of the engine..

Please see picture attached. You’ll notice what looks like a vacuum line poking out at the top hanging loose. Been told this could be a breather pipe which is normal??.. not sure it is.. I could be wrong.

Only drips oil from what I notice when the engine is on. Will come out to the car in the morning, and notice a small puddle of oil.

Any help would be appreciated

Mine was leaking through the intake manifold (never been changed) as my mechanic has shown me and the crankcase breather.
