100% disagree (I would, I own an estate version) but the (much more common) saloon has never done anything for me and when I decided to buy a C55 the saloons didn't even register with me.The saloon still looks fairly decent but looking at that rear the touring is really showing it’s age….
I didn't get round to it David. I have all the consumables to do it, plan was once it was up and MOT'd I would crack on with it.Personally it’s gunsight
Did you drop a 55 into your silver 43 wagon, Gareth? Or did you decide on this purchase to save you the trouble?
Nothing on the VIN decode to say it had HK, just had a look and no random/redundant wiring in there, must have been an option.OP , just noticed while looking at your 3 pooches in the loadspace that you have a netted cargo 'cubby' on the drivers side . Did a previous owner delete the HK amp when fitting the aftermarket head unit ?
If so , nice touch replacing the flat cover with a 'cubby' hole cover . Must admit the Audio in mine is showing all of its decade and a half + of 'tech' .
Or did some C55's come without HK amp in the boot ? Anyone
Great, thanks Pete.Side tool kit with short bolt storage . Wheel well tool kit . for some reason MB have duplicated most of the tools (or was it a previous owner ??) . The locking wheel bolt box is empty as the bolts are on the wheels 'natch. No idea where the long bolts are...probably in an old MB technicians tool box somewhere. The pack of fuses are an addition I made , My car still has the original plastic bag (shown) to put the dirty wheel in !
