I got a code reader for my 2001 w203, when i plug it in all i get is "err" something to do with the protocol is not compatible. The seller has told me that the controller is not can bus enabled and if the car is it wont work. Are all w203 can bus enabled ?
My U581 code reader workers on my wifes W203 and my 210 note sure if mine is can or not but reader works and that whats matters

To my mind if the reader has got the correct plug it should read the codes on any car with the obd socket.
