Hi Guys
Wondering if you could point me in the right direction.

I had my turbo leak oil into my engine and it had the " Diesel engine runaway" for around 5 secs until it stopped.

After inspection my Injector tips were burnt and the car had low compression on cylinder 1.

Does the engine need to come out to get the head off ?

The car turns over fine with no knocks or metal contact but have not tried starting it with the new injectors and turbo.

Welcome

I am sure the head will come off without removing the engine , has someone tried to tell you otherwise?

Hello Thanks for your reply.

a Mechanic at a garage in London however i have seen people change timing chains with the engine still in so im really not sure. I would of thought it would have to come out because of the timing gear being at the back.
