Hi all,
Looking for piece of mind before driving. The W204 front wheel bearing assy is totally different to a standard c class.
When speaking to parts department at Mercedes they said they no longer offer an OEM bearing replacement kit so I purchased the whole assembly.
As you can see from pictures, the new assembly comes with the nut installed on the spline and the crush section on the end of the nut is already deformed into the cutout on the spline end.
Does this mean that the assembly has been pre-torqued to the required 300+ NM and does not require torquing on installation?
Thanks in advance.
