The owner was on Pistonheads, he tried to sell it privately for a few weeks before selling it to the dealer.

I wanted it when he had it advertised but wasn’t in a position to proceed at that point.

Did you get a chance to look it over? And any details about history etc? I asked the Dealer but they have zero background on the car.

That's lovely! How are you finding it? I love the Magnetite colour, not many around it seems.

Thanks HHamster! The dealer let me test drive it for nearly an hour. It felt great and has had new composite discs and pads installed together with a fresh service.
The colour really makes the car.

Dealer is completing prep on the car and should all be good to collect on Wednesday - so very excited!!!

Not sure how long he had it etc and I never got to see it.

Update...
Received a call from MB Cheltenham. Body shop manager loooked at the car. Besides the slight peel in the lacquer. He has noticed some “blemishes “ in some of the other panels.

The dealer does not think the car is up to their standard and suggests I do not purchase the car. They will refund my money etc and also look for another vehicle for me.

I have had a bunch of cars but never received any such “honest” feedback from a dealer in this way.

So my search continues. If anyone has a C63 Estate with PPP or 507 let me know... Budget up to circa £40k.

Ps. Given the dealer feedback it would seem this car has suffered somewhere in its life...

I did wonder that AMGeed. I’ll have to take them at their word but interested to see what happens to the car and where it ends up...
