Hey guys

Had a little accident with a crow on the motorway flew head first into my passanger wing mirror, broke the cover off and indicator.

I have found a replacement in the same colour as my C63 however it’s coming from an estate non AMG will it fit ????

Both same year and looks exactly like my one but just want to be sure.

Kind regards

Antony

One would have thought the C63 wouldn't have its own wing mirror cover, design costs and all that.

Pesky mother nature destroying our precious possessions 😡 (tongue in cheek but so frustrating)

My bro in law hit a chicken and damaged his bumper.

That’s what I thought but they look identical
The guy selling the whole unit at a good price I just need the wing mirror cap and indicator

Ye it’s proper annoying I’m just glad it didn’t cause a accident had my 3 year old in the back

I remember when I had my Alfa Giulia, on the Alfa forum a guy hit a pheasant in his brand new car, totally destroyed a headlight. Big bill.... (no bird joke intended lol)

Like you say, at least it's only a wing mirror and nothing serious happened (except to the bird in question).

Does the seller accept returns? Worth the risk if its a good price?

I rang him just now he is only 15 mins from me said to come on Sunday to compare to the drivers side

Excellent, sounds like a plan.
He selling the passanger side as a complete unit, I only need the mirror cap and indicator so can just offer it up make sure it’s the same size and colour, even if isn’t a folding mirror doesn’t matter

Sorry not meaning to hijack your thread but this happened to me on the M42 just north of Tamworth a few years ago, a bird flew into me I was doing about 75mph with so eone too close behind me in the outside lane passing traffic so couldn't break too hard or move out of lane straight away.PB090016.JPG

Ouch bet you had a brown trousers moment

Just checked, the Part #'s for the W205 C63 saloon and a non AMG estate are the same for the n/s mirror housing.

A pheasant in the chest at about 50 on my old FireBlade made me jump a bit too. Luckily it did not pull my hands off the bars in the impact.....bruised ribs/chest for about a week though!

Lucky you didn’t fall off
