W205 towbar electric supply

Hi All,

I'll soon be fitting a towbar to my W205 C200 SE.
All straightforward enough but I thought I'd ask if there is a suitable 12v feed in the boot for my Maypole relay unit.
I'm not using any dedicated MB stuff.
When previously wiring towbars, I generally run a 12v supply direct from the battery for the relay unit.
Just wondered if MB provide a suitable feed in the boot to save disturbing the cabin trim etc.

I really would not advise doing that on any remotely modern car with can bus wiring. There is a reason that bespoke towbar wiring looms are made for canbus cars....and you don't have to get them from MB. But sometimes they can still cost more than the actual towbar. Proper looms are almost plug and play....our local towbar guys even have the tool to "let the car know" that it has a towbar now. Using something a antiquated as a Maypole relay will probably light up your dash like a Christmas tree as soon as you start her up.
