Hi Gang,

Searched and found a couple of hints but not enough to get me through this. I want to remove the centre console and gear surround to see if I have the phone kit installed or just a nokia cradle but can't find out how to remove the unit.

I can undo the rear bolts inside the cubby hole but then stuck and can't see any other fixings.

Could someone point me in the right direction so I can remove and investigate.

Ta Muchly..!

Lift off the trim around the gear lever. Careful not ot pull too hard otherwise you might break the wiring for the gear selecter. Remove gear knob by turning the locking nut a quarter of a turn with your hand. Wiggle and pull upwards. This reveals the two front bolts.

From our converstaion on Friday, i'm pretty sure you do have the kit.

Thanks mate - I did have a further look and it only has a curly lead. it does not have the wide connection plug as well. ( the one that looks a bit like an ipod connector clip).

So it looks like is has power but nothing else.

Is that right..?
