W209 heated seats retrofit

Carbon pads are a necessity because of all the ribs and shapes of the CLK's seats - the inner elements can be cut to size.

One of us is going to have to man up and rip a seat apart! Admittedly I've got an easier task with my poverty spec manual seats - I had to remove an electric seat in my 190E and they weigh a sodding ton, easy to do your back in if your not careful.

Well I’ve got a set of Waeco Carbon Pads on the way, switch pack, and about to order the loom today.

The harness now costs £56.88!!! Bloody MB and inflation!

All the parts now on order (all prices include next day shipping)

Switch pack - £25
Waeco Carbon Seat Pads - £58.19
A2035403005 Loom - £51.19

Total spent on parts: £134.38

Where did you find the waeco pads?

If you search Waeco MSH300 you’ll find the latest carbon ones they make I think they are quite expensive though

Mine are the Msh100 which have the older switches but those are going in the bin anyway
