W210 lowered suspension

I've just fitted some 18" monoblocks, the car is sitting a little high now. How much lower is an E55 compared to an Elegance?
I've seen these-

H&R / Cup Suspension Kits / Mercedes E-Class (95>02) W210 / Euro Performance Car Parts

and

Bilstein / B12 Suspension Kits / Mercedes E-Class (95>02) W210 / Euro Performance Car Parts

has anyone had experience with either or have any recommendations ?

I have a Bilstein B8 kit on my C43 and had a B12 on my C280.

The B12 kit is what you want. Very well made with a 40mm drop.

Your standard shocks will be pretty useless with just lowering springs. They will probably be very under damped and the car may bounce all over the place.

Oh I definitely would want shocks also. I'll see what problems come up on the service next week (Booked in with you for Tuesday). If there are no major problems I'll order up a set and give you a call to fit them.
