Hi, my car has all of a sudden started slipping into neutral what could this be?
Stoping car and restarting engages drive again.
When car slips into neutral D remains on the dashboard

In the process of changing the conductor plate and several of the bolts holding the plate have striped,
Is drilling them out the way forward?

On removing the electrical plug on the gearbox oil is present in the plug, went to try in footwell and loom is dry and module also, hoping now that a service, conductor plate and new plug will resolve fingers crossed, car is at 200.000 miles

Good luck 👌

Received oil , filter , gasket and dipstick. Just wondering if the dipstick can be left on the car running or do you check it with it switched off

No it’s checked with the gearbox oil hot (ideally after 30 minutes drive) on a level surface , with the engine running , gearbox in Park .

Was the filter clogged?

Plus, I think that you need to cycle the gear lever through PRND and back to Park before checking the level?

Hi I’ve read that following a conductor plate change I’ll need adaption values resetting, is this so and is it only star

Depends on how much you touched. If you put the solenoids in the same place and don't replace the seals, probably don't need relearning.

I think any decent bidirectional interface should do it, but you can get Xentry Passthru running on an old laptop for free and buy a £10-£50 clone interface
